This fabric was inspired by gem corn, the rainbow-colored variety of corn that looks like tiny jewels scattered across each kernel. Gem corn has been grown for centuries and is often used for decoration, harvest festivals, and even art! Each kernel comes in vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, purple, and blue, making every ear unique—just like your creative projects. I loved the idea of turning these little “corn jewels” into cute patterns.
